- Maxis fiber use Unifi infrastructure. I’m not sure about pricing, i think they are cheaper? I’m using Unifi since 5mbps is a thing. 5 upgraded to 10, then 30, then 300, then 800. That was my parents’ house. My house started from 100 now 300 free upgrade.
Most of the time it’s not the infrastructure that is problematic it’s the router. Unifi usually gives you cheap router. Change it and you get good internet. I got a router brand fibrehome from Unifi that can only handle 50mbps bandwidth while my package is 100mbps. That router goes straight to trash after i bought my own quad core router.
