- Astro is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Malaysia with free viewing, additional channels and customer rewards from August to December 2026.
From 15 August to 16 September, all Astro customers will receive complimentary access to the full Astro channel line-up. Two temporary channels will also be available, with Astro 30 on Channel 100 running from 15 August to 31 October and Aniplus on Channel 120 from 15 August to 31 December.
Astro customers will also receive complimentary access to Astro X3 on compatible Smart TVs through the Astro app. NJOI customers will gain Astro Prima, Astro Oasis, Astro AEC and Stadium Astro in the free tier from 13 August, bringing the total number of free-to-air channels to 26.
The anniversary programme also includes nationwide activities, concert and event rewards, and the Astro 30th Anniversary Showcase at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 23 August 2026.
Astro said the anniversary celebrations are intended to thank Malaysians for their support over the past 30 years.
