The app allows users to share their screen with Gemini. Gemini can then provide summaries and insights on local files.
Users can generate images or videos with the app. The feature helps bring ideas to life without leaving the main work.
The Gemini macOS app is free for all eligible users. It is available globally starting today.
Google says this release is the first step.
