- Malaysians aged 18 to 30 can receive three months of free ILMUchat Pro access through the AI Untuk Rakyat programme.
The national initiative is led by the Ministry of Digital and delivered with YTL AI Labs and MyDIGITAL Corporation through Rakyat Digital. It targets 100,000 Malaysians in the eligible age group.
Participants must log in to Rakyat Digital, complete the required AI training and select ILMUchat Pro from their dashboard. MyDigital ID is used to verify eligibility and activate the free subscription.
ILMUchat Pro normally costs RM50 a month and includes unlimited usage during the three-month access period.
The AI assistant supports Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese and Manglish. It can be used for tasks such as drafting emails, finding local services, creating graphics, generating slide decks and building app prototypes without coding.
The programme was announced in July alongside AI Malaysia and the National AI Action Plan 2026-2030.
