    ## 1. General Forum Rules

    1. Be respectful

    * Treat all members, moderators and companies with basic respect.
    * No personal attacks, harassment, bullying, name-calling or threats.

    2. No hate or discrimination

    * Do not post content that targets race, religion, gender, nationality or any other group.
    * Slurs and hateful language are not allowed.

    3. No illegal or harmful content

    * Do not share anything that promotes crime, fraud, hacking, piracy, harassment, self-harm or violence.
    * Do not share links to pirated software, movies, TV, games or paid content.

    4. No spam or advertising

    * No mass posting, link dropping, referral links or obvious self-promotion.
    * Commercial posts, sales, and promotions need approval from the admin team.
    * Genuine user reviews and experiences are allowed if you clearly state your relationship with the product or company.

    5. Use English or Bahasa Malaysia

    * Main language is simple English. Bahasa Malaysia is also welcome.
    * Do not mix languages in a way that makes posts difficult to understand.

    6. One account per person

    * Do not create multiple accounts to support your own argument or to avoid moderation.

    7. Follow moderator instructions

    * Moderators can edit, move, merge or remove posts and topics when needed.
    * Failure to follow moderator instructions may lead to warnings, temporary suspension or a permanent ban.

    ## 2. Posting Guidelines

    1. Choose the right section

    * **Mobile & Broadband Providers**: Plans, billing, contract, customer service and anything related to a specific telco or ISP.
    * **Devices, Platforms & Apps**: Phones, routers, apps, OS features, apps.
    * **Industry, Infrastructure & Policy**: MCMC, KKD, CFM, spectrum, towers, vendors, corporate and regulatory topics.

    2. Use clear topic titles

    * Good: “Yes 5G speed in Penang Bayan Lepas”
    * Not good: “Help” or “Telco problem”
    * Include telco, location and main issue if possible.

    3. Search before you post

    * Use the search tool to see if your question has already been answered.
    * If there is an existing topic, reply there instead of starting a new one.

    4. Stay on topic

    * Keep each thread focused on the original subject.
    * If you want to talk about something else, start a new topic.

    5. No misleading information

    * Do not post fake promotions, edited screenshots or unverified claims as “fact”.
    * If you are sharing a rumour or unconfirmed info, say so clearly.

    6. Language and style

    * Use simple, readable sentences.
    * Avoid all caps (LIKE THIS) which looks like shouting.
    * Do not use clickbait titles.

    ## 3. Privacy and Personal Data

    1. Do not post sensitive personal data

    * Do not share your full IC number, full address, full phone number, bank details, passwords or one time codes.
    * For screenshots, hide names, account numbers and other sensitive information.

    2. Respect other people’s privacy

    * Do not post someone else’s personal details without their clear permission.
    * Do not upload private messages, emails or WhatsApp chats that include other people unless you remove their identity.

    3. PDPA and legal responsibility

    * This forum is based in Malaysia and is subject to local laws and regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
    * You are responsible for what you post. The forum team may remove posts that contain sensitive or unlawful data.

    ## 4. Telco, ISP and Vendor Discussions

    1. Fair comments and criticism

    * You may share honest experiences, both good and bad, about telcos, ISPs and vendors.
    * Be specific. Mention the service, location, plan and time frame.

    2. No defamation

    * Serious accusations (for example “fraud”, “scam”) must be supported with facts and evidence.
    * Avoid wild claims against individuals or companies. If in doubt, focus on your own experience instead of making legal statements.

    3. Official staff and company representatives

    * If you represent a telco, ISP, vendor or partner, you must clearly state this in your profile or post.
    * Hidden marketing posing as normal users is not allowed.

    ## 5. Attachments, Screenshots and Speed Tests

    1. Make your screenshots useful

    * For coverage and speed topics, include telco, technology (4G, 5G), device model and location (general area, not full address).
    * For signal screenshots, include RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, band, EARFCN where available.

    2. Check before uploading

    * Remove sensitive or personal details.
    * Make sure images are clear and not overly large in size.

    ## 6. Warnings, Suspensions and Bans

    1. Warning system

    * First issues usually receive a reminder or formal warning.
    * Repeated or serious issues may receive an immediate suspension.

    2. Temporary suspension

    * Used when a member repeatedly ignores rules or moderator instructions.

    3. Permanent ban

    * Used for spam accounts, fake accounts, serious abuse, hate content, or repeated refusal to follow the rules.

    4. Moderator decisions

    * If you disagree with a moderator action, contact the moderation team privately.
    * Do not start public fights about moderation in normal threads.

    ## 7. Final Notes

    By using this forum, you agree to follow these rules and any updates made in the future. The MalaysianWireless team may update the rules when needed. Please check this topic from time to time for changes.
