  • redONE Mobile has launched The ONE Prepaid in Malaysia with new ONE25, ONE35 and ONE45 monthly plans offering up to 350GB of 5G and 4G data for regular customers, while customers who port in their existing mobile number can receive up to 450GB.

The new prepaid offering has been available since 28 September 2026. The monthly plans are priced at RM25, RM35 and RM45, with each offering 30 days of validity, hotspot usage and unlimited domestic calls.

    For customers registering a normal new number, ONE25 provides 150GB of high-speed 5G and 4G data for RM25. ONE35 offers 250GB for RM35, while ONE45 comes with 350GB for RM45.

redONE is offering higher data quotas to customers who switch their existing number from another mobile operator. MNP port-in customers receive 180GB with ONE25, 300GB with ONE35 and 450GB with ONE45, without an increase in the monthly plan price.

This means the advertised 180GB, 300GB and 450GB allocations apply specifically to MNP port-in registrations. Customers taking a new redONE number receive the standard 150GB, 250GB and 350GB allocations respectively.

All three monthly plans allow hotspot usage, with the data deducted from the main high-speed quota. redONE states that the high-speed data can be shared with other users or devices, although the company excludes modems from data sharing.

Once the high-speed quota is fully used, customers can continue accessing the Internet at 512kbps until the plan expires. Customers who need more high-speed data can also buy a 10GB 5G and 4G booster for RM10. The booster supports hotspot usage and follows the validity period of the active Internet plan.

The unlimited calls included with ONE25, ONE35 and ONE45 apply to domestic voice calls to Malaysian networks. They are subject to a Fair Usage Policy limit of 2,000 minutes. Video calls, premium-rate numbers, short codes and other excluded numbers are not covered.

ONE25, ONE35 and ONE45 are monthly recurring mobile Internet plans. They renew every 30 days if there is sufficient credit in the customer’s main balance. Only one monthly Internet plan can be active at a time, and unused data and other benefits do not carry forward when the plan expires.

Existing The ONE Prepaid customers can subscribe to the monthly plans through the redONE Prepaid App. New customers can select ONE25, ONE35 or ONE45 when registering a new The ONE Prepaid line or when porting their number to redONE Mobile.

The ONE Prepaid also changes the amount of data available at redONE’s existing RM25 and RM35 price points compared with its previous ULTRAplus range.

The previous ULTRAplus25 offered 100GB of main 5G and 4G data and a separate 10GB hotspot allocation for RM25. ULTRAplus35 provided 150GB of main high-speed data with a separate hotspot allocation for RM35. Under The ONE Prepaid, ONE25 provides 150GB to a regular new number, while ONE35 provides 250GB, with hotspot usage shared from the main data quota.

There is also a new RM45 monthly option with 350GB for regular numbers and 450GB for customers who port in.

The ONE Prepaid starter pack costs RM8 and comes with RM5 credit and a 1GB activation bonus valid for seven days. Customers who port their existing mobile number to redONE receive RM5 in bonus credit every month for six months.

Outside the monthly plans, redONE is offering three one-time passes. ONEdaily costs RM3 and provides 3GB of 5G and 4G data for 24 hours. ONEweekly costs RM12 for 15GB over seven days and includes unlimited domestic calls. Both allow hotspot use from the included data quota.

ONEyearly costs RM38 and extends the validity of a The ONE Prepaid account for 365 days. It does not include Internet data or calls and cannot be stacked with an existing validity period.

The ONE Prepaid is also tied to redONE’s redCOIN rewards programme. Customers can earn redCOIN from eligible purchases through the redONE Prepaid App and redeem the points for rewards and vouchers. The company is positioning the service as a simpler entry into its wider prepaid and postpaid offerings.

redONE is also offering eligible prepaid customers a route to a free 5G phone when moving to postpaid after at least six months. The company’s current terms specify conversion to the powerGADGET68 postpaid plan and set several eligibility requirements rather than making the phone available automatically to every prepaid customer.

Applicants must have been a redONE Prepaid customer for at least six months and must have reloaded a total of at least RM150 during the previous six months. They must also be Malaysian citizens aged 18 or above and complete the conversion through a redONE branch or partner, subject to the company’s registration and approval requirements. Any remaining prepaid credit and benefits are forfeited after a successful conversion to postpaid.

The free-phone pathway was one of the benefits highlighted when The ONE Prepaid was introduced. redONE said the prepaid service was intended to provide customers with an entry point to its services before giving them the option to move to postpaid as their requirements change.

redONE Mobile operates as a mobile virtual network operator in Malaysia. Its 4G service runs on the CelcomDigi network, while its 5G access is provided through CelcomDigi with 5G supplied by Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).

The company said The ONE Prepaid is aimed particularly at younger users and students looking for mobile connectivity without a postpaid commitment, while offering different passes for customers with different usage requirements.

The ONE Prepaid starter pack is available through redONE Mobile partners and prepaid dealers, while existing eligible prepaid customers can request a change to The ONE Prepaid through the Prepaid App or by dialling *108#.
