Ericsson Appoints Christophe Van de Weyer as Vonage CEO

Ericsson has appointed Christophe Van de Weyer as Head of Business Area Global Communications Platform and Chief Executive Officer of Vonage. He will also join Ericsson’s Executive Team. Van de Weyer currently leads Vonage’s Business Unit API and previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Telesign. He will replace Niklas Heuveldop, who will step down on 15 August 2026. Heuveldop will remain available until 31 December 2026 to support the leadership transition. Van de Weyer is expected to continue Ericsson and Vonage’s focus on Communications Platform as a Service, Network APIs and enterprise communication services.
