The company said memory prices have increased sharply, affecting both upcoming and existing Pixel products. The changes will include the Pixel 11 series, which is scheduled to be announced on August 12, as well as devices already on sale.
Google has not confirmed the exact new prices. However, the company said promotions, trade-in offers and bundled services will continue to help reduce the cost for buyers.
Recent leaks suggest some Pixel 11 models could cost $100 more. The Pixel 11 Pro may also offer 12GB of RAM instead of 16GB, although Google has not confirmed these details.
Google is also working to reduce Android and application memory requirements so future devices can use less RAM without significantly affecting the user experience.
